The Worcester County Commission on Aging, Incorporated, is a non-profit agency headquartered in Snow Hill, Maryland. The Commission on Aging operates the Worcester County MAC Program and Worcester Adult Medical Day Services. The WorCOA has operated Worcester County's MAC Program for more than 35 years. The program has four multi-service senior centers strategically located throughout Worcester County where qualified and dedicated staff offer education, recreation, and health services.Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life of all older Worcester County Citizens by managing community based senior programs that are comprehensive, coordinated, accessible, and to advocate the needs of older citizens.
First Aid Training

New Fitness Program Offered
A new fitness program will be starting on May 5th at the Snow Hill Senior Center. Enhance Fitness is a low cost group exercise program designed to help older adults at any fitness level to become more active, engergized and empowered to live an independent life. See the flyer below for details.
Soup and Sandwich Fundraiser a Success Despite the Weather
In spite of freezing temperatures and several inches of snow, our most recent fundraising event was still a success. The Snow Hill Senior Center was closed due to the winter weather but still raised $600 for the Adult Medical Day Services! Thank you to all those that participated in this event.
A Special Day for a Special Lady
Mrs. Lizzie Waters, a member of the Snow Hill Senior Center, was presented balloons and cupcakes from the Commission on Aging in honor of her 108th birthday! Mrs. Waters has been attending the Senior Center for greater than 15 years.
Longevity: one of the many benefits of our senior centers.
Tai Chi Class Offered
Tai Chi classes will begin on February 17th at 10:30 a.m. The classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday for six weeks. For more information contact Linda at 410-632-1277 ext. 103 or see the flyer below.
Recently held events:
Members from the Pocomoke, Northern Worcester County and Snow Hill Senior Centers helped raise funds for the Senior Emergency Fund by participating in the Soles for Seniors event sponsored by MAC, Inc. The event was held on 9/17 at the Centre in Salisbury. The Worcester County Senior Centers helped raise over $17,000 and also had a good time!
Our Adult Medical Day Center recently had a luau. Entertainment, food, drinks and authentic dress were enjoyed all day by the participants as well as the staff and their children. Everyone was wearing a smile and having a terrific time. This is just one of the many fun days that your family member could be enjoying.
