The services we offer include, but are not limited to, the following:

Senior Centers

Multi-service centers are located throughout the county.  Qualified and dedicated staff offer education, recreation, and health services. 

Open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
 

Senior Center Plus

This program assists caregivers in keeping their loved ones in the community by providing a non-medical day respite program.  A variety of socialization and entertainment opportunities are offered to provide therapeutic recreation and reality orientation for those with memory loss or confusion.

Worcester Adult Medical Day Services

Adult medical day care provides rehabilitation, nursing, recreation, and nutritional services for individuals over the age of 16, who are disabled or medically frail, and want to remain at home.  It is a daily program that provides respite for the caregiver and vital socialization and rehabilitation for the participant.  A sliding scale fee is available.

Nutrition

A nutritious meal is served in a social atmosphere each operating day at the senior centers.  Meals are delivered to the homebound, handicapped, and convalescing elderly.  Specific criteria must be met for home delivered meals.  Lunches are available for participants over the age of 60.

Senior Care

This program assists frail, health-impaired, older persons to continue to live in their homes.  An evaluation is done in the home by a Case Manager to ensure each person receives the needed services.  Individuals 65 years and older who need assistance with the activities of daily living should inquire.

National Family Caregiver's Support Program (NFCSP)

NFCSP has funds available for respite and other supplemental services.

Senior Information and Assistance

Information and assistance serves as a single point of contact for access to a wide range of services including Social Security, housing, health care, transportation, legal assistance, and leisure activities. 

Our Outreach program brings information and assistance to the homebound seniors in Worcester County.  Our staff can assist you in identifying problems and offer help towards finding the solutions.  Please call 410-632-9915 ext. 185 for more information.
