Nutritious Meals and Snacks

Food Pyramid

Participants are served Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon Snacks. The center is approved by the Maryland Department of Education, Child and Adult Food Program. Breakfast and Snack are prepared in a excellent commercial kitchen and the lunch meals are prepared by the Worcester County School services. USDA reimburses some costs for the center's nutritious meals. The center is surveyed and licensed by both CACFP and the Sanitation Offices of the Worcester County Health Department. Menus are reviewed and approved by a Registered Dietitian. This individual also counsels participants for good nutrition and health.

Volunteers are always welcome. Donations to the center are tax deductible as the center is not for profit.
