What are the Fees?
- Fees for persons aged 55 and above are assessed upon a sliding fee scale based on income, when slots are available through a Grant from the Maryland Office of Health Services. This is the only center in Worcester with this Grant, funded through the local health department.
- The center is a Medicaid provider. This enables frail adults with a skilled need who have MA to be enrolled in AMDC to avoid unnecessary nursing home placement.
- A Medicaid Waiver for Older Adults includes both AMDC and Senior Center Plus as a covered service for those who qualify.
- The center is licensed to provide care to persons aged 16 and above at a cost far below Nursing Home Placement with many of the same services, and allowing persons to continue living at home with loved ones.
- The center is approved for Veterans Administration funding for Veterans needing services.
- The fees are based upon the non profit cost of the center.
