Compassionate Care for a Stronger, Better Journey.

Our adult day care is for individuals over the age of 16 who are disabled and/or medically compromised and in need of supervised daily care. Services allow each participant to join in activities that promote social, physical and emotional wellbeing, while remaining in their community. River Oaks is fully staffed with an on-site nurse for medical monitoring and assistance with medications, nurse assistants, activity coordinator, program director and social worker. The staff works hard to provide a safe and fun environment for the participants.

The participants enjoy going on trips a few times a month, and participate in fun daily activities that vary from arts and crafts, on-site farmers market, movies, guest speakers, singing groups, and a physical therapy dog who visits on occasion, just to name a few. Our adult day care provides "Kaleidoscope Cove", a low-sensory room for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.

The center is a Medical Assistance provider of Skilled Adult Medical Day Care. We are also an approved provider for the Veteran’s Administration for Day Care services. If your loved one does not qualify for any these assistance programs, private pay fees are less than nursing home facilities per day.
